Hi, I’m Chelsea!

I’m a physical therapist, coach, artist, world traveler, trail runner, hiker, researcher and foodie.

But, first and foremost, I’m a person who has dedicated her life to the pursuit of movement and healing.

I believe that staying active and feeling physically unlimited allows us to experience deeper, richer lives, and my goal is to be a resource for the active and adventurous to stay connected to the movement and workouts you love.

We are happier when we can live life to the fullest…through movement.

Staying active hasn’t always come easily to me, though.

Just like you, I have struggled.

I have struggled with injury, I have struggled with mindset, and I have struggled with asking for help.

It wasn’t until I went through years of ankle pain from an intense ankle injury that I really understood what my clients were going through

I gave up running.

Then I gave up hikes and long walks.

Then, I gave up all workouts.

I was tired of being frustrated, sad, and disappointed during my workouts from being in pain that I couldn’t figure out.

So, I marched myself into a PT office - as a patient this time.  And for the first time as a healthcare provider, I saw what it felt like to be on the other end of healthcare.

No one was taking an active interest in me and why getting back to my workouts was so important!

It was just...“Oh, do these exercises with a stretchy band in the corner and make sure to come back every week for the next 3 months," and “Here are the same generic exercises we give to everyone with ankle pain regardless of the fact that you really want to run or do box jumps or hike mountains.”.  Was I ever going to get back to myself?!

So, I decided to advocate for myself and find another PT.

Fortunately, this time, I landed in the hands of a skilled physical therapist who was able to understand where I was coming from, my goals, my fears, my struggles - the entire picture.

And from that picture, they helped me develop a plan to get out of pain and get back to training. I was seeing progress. I’ll never forget the feeling of doing squats as part of my PT program. Feeling slightly out of breath and sore (in a good way) the next day. I missed that feeling so much.

They also guided me through how my physical health, mental health, mindset and fears were all critical aspects to healing...

It was through this experience and my work with that therapist, that I started to feel stronger and more confident that my body was capable of overcoming this issue.

I started feeling like my old self again.

Finally, I  reclaimed the life that I knew I was capable of living.  These days you can find me back on a local trail running (or planning my next hiking destination) - back to the movement that’s been an anchor in my life all along.

My aim is to help you do the same...

Reconnect to the movement you love and the life you want to lead.

This has led to an amazing career of helping everyone from professional athletes to runners in their 80s all get back to doing what they love.

Nothing beats getting back to fearless, instinctive movement. Going out on a trail run, hiking a mountain, dancing the night away or playing with your kids with less pain and greater confidence.

It’s your vitality...your expression...your lifeline.

They’re calling you. And I’d love to help you create a plan to get you there.

I look forward to helping you take ownership of your situation and reclaim your life.

To your health,

Chelsea
